Coreflute (Corflute)
Lightweight corrugated polypropylene for temporary signage
Coreflute is a lightweight, twin-wall corrugated polypropylene sheet. It's the go-to material for temporary signage, real estate boards, and event graphics due to its low cost, water resistance, and easy printability.
Despite its light weight, coreflute is surprisingly rigid along the flute direction and resistant to moisture, chemicals, and impact.

Buying Guide
When coreflute is the right choice
Coreflute, also called corflute, is best for temporary signs, site boards, campaign signs, event graphics, packaging inserts, and lightweight protection. It is low cost, water resistant, easy to handle, and quick to cut or print.
Choose coreflute when the job needs visibility and speed more than a permanent premium finish. It is a temporary signage material, not a rigid fascia panel or clear display plastic.
It also works well when the job needs many lightweight panels that staff can move, stack, install, or replace quickly. For construction and event work, that handling benefit can be more valuable than a premium face finish.
Coreflute vs PVC and ACP
PVC foamboard gives a smoother, more rigid panel for indoor signs and displays. ACP gives a flatter, more durable outdoor sign face. Coreflute is the lightweight temporary option for short campaigns, real estate signs, construction use, and events.
The fluted structure gives it stiffness in one direction and makes it easy to mount on stakes, frames, fences, or temporary fixtures. For permanent signage or exposed high-wind sites, ask whether ACP or another panel is more suitable.
Printing, flute direction, and ordering notes
For signs, confirm finished size, quantity, print requirements, hole or eyelet positions, stake orientation, and whether the flutes need to run vertically or horizontally. Flute direction affects stiffness, folding, and how the sign mounts.
Coreflute is water resistant and can handle temporary outdoor use, but lifespan depends on sun exposure, wind, fixing method, and print quality. UV-stabilised grades and correct installation matter if the sign needs to last through a campaign or outdoor event.
For packaging inserts, protection panels, or construction floor protection, note whether the sheet will be bent, scored, taped, walked on, or re-used. The best thickness and flute direction can change once the sheet is doing more than acting as a sign.
For large quantities, include delivery address, deadline, and whether sheets are supplied plain, printed elsewhere, or cut into finished blanks. That keeps freight and handling realistic from the first quote.

Common Questions
Is coreflute the same as corflute?
Yes. Coreflute and corflute usually refer to the same corrugated polypropylene sheet used for temporary signs, event graphics, campaign boards, and lightweight protection.
Is coreflute waterproof?
Coreflute is water resistant because it is made from polypropylene, so it suits temporary outdoor signage. Sun exposure, wind, fixing method, and print quality still affect how long it lasts outside.
Should I use coreflute, PVC, or ACP?
Use coreflute for temporary low-cost signs, PVC foamboard for smoother indoor or semi-permanent panels, and ACP for flatter, more durable outdoor signage.
